NIDHI GUPTA J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of an appropriate writ, order of direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage limits his prayer and submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, to consider and take a final decision on representation dated 28.3.2024 (Annexure P-2) made by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, without going into the merits of the present petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, to forthwith consider the grievance raised by the petitioner in the aforesaid representation and take action thereupon as he/she deems fit, in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
