 -' 67'8 49 The petitioners have approached this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for seeking quashing of case bearing FIR No. 115 dated 11.07.2019 under Sections 420, 406, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Dakha, District Ludhiana. The matter had come up for hearing on 02.05.2022 when it was specifically noted by the Court that a cancellation report was submitted by the Investigating Agency after conclusion of the investigation, however, said cancellation report was not accepted and the Court had directed further investigation into the matter and that the said further investigation is pending.

There is no challenge to the aforesaid order and as such, any exercise being undertaken by the Investigating Agency pursuant to an order passed by a competent Court, cannot be stalled or be scuttled at this stage. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to take recourse to the PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2022.07.
