Rajinder Kumar @ Bhindi v. State Of Punjab And ORS.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CRM-M-31119-2014 (O&M).
Decided on: February 9, 2015.
Rajinder Kaur @ Bhindi ..... Petitioner(s)
Versus
State of Punjab and others ..... Respondent(s) * * *
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M.S. BEDI PRESENT Mr.Sushant Kohli, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr.J.S.Brar, AAG., Punjab.
M.M.S. BEDI, J (ORAL) Petitioner along with Patras Masih had cheated the complainant Mandeep Saini on the pretext of getting the complainant appointed in the Police Department. The petitioner was introduced to the victim. He had taken money to get the uniform of the complainant stitched. The complainant was even asked to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- to officials in the police station as it was assured to the petitioner that he would be associated with the Police Station Division No.3.
It appears that the petitioner is involved in another case of similar nature in which he is in custody. No ground is made out to grant the concession of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in the present case. The petitioner may surrender before the Illaqua Magistrate or make prayer for being arrested in the present case while in custody in another case by moving appropriate application.
The petition for pre-arrest bail is dismissed without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to seek concession of regular bail.
