H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ram Lal, of Police Station City Phagwara, states that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and submitted his passport to the Investigating Officer, as such he is not required for further investigation.

It being so, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 1.9.2017 is made absolute, subject to fulfillment of conditions under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

In that way, the petition stands accepted.
