DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) On 22.02.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "Reply filed on behalf of the State by way of affidavit of Balwinder Singh, Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Bathinda along with report of Chemical Examiner is ordered to be taken on record.

State counsel on instructions from ASI Gursahib Singh apprised the Court that the petitioners have not joined the investigation with the police in compliance of order of interim bail dated 27.4.2022. Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioners made prayer that one last opportunity be granted to the petitioner to join the investigation.

In view of above, the petitioners are hereby directed to join investigation with the police on 1.3.2023 and 10.4.2023. Now be listed on 31.5.2023.

Interim order to continue."

Today, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gursahib Singh, has reiterated the earlier statement to the effect that the petitioners have not joined the investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has no instructions in this regard.
