***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.756 dated 20.11.2017 under Section 420 IPC and Section 7/10/55 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, registered at Police Station City Hansi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is incarcerated since 21.11.2017 and the challan has been presented before the competent court.

Learned State counsel has opposed the prayer for bail. Heard.

Keeping in view the period of his incarceration and the fact that trial may take long time to conclude, no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner during pendency of the trial, I deem it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Hisar.
