M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) Petitioner while working as a Sarpanch had allegedly misappropriated the grant which was sanctioned for the development work by preparing forged bills. The challan has already been presented. The petitioner has been in custody w.e.f. 30.7.2015. His application has been dismissed by the trial Court on the ground that he remained a proclaimed offender.

Without expression of any opinion on merits of the case, the petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. (M.M.S.BEDI) JUDGE September 23, 2015.
