HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN PRESENT: Mr. Mohinder Kumar, Advocate for the petitioners. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioners, namely; Naresh Kumar, Anil Kumar @ Badana and Tony Khosla in case FIR No. 28 dated 06.02.2020 registered under Sections 323, 324, 341, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) at Police Station Rama Mandi, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar, Punjab.

According to prosecution, in the evening of 30.01.2020, petitioners along with their accomplice, namely; Rajeshwar, Ajay and Lucky, caused 6 grievous injuries to the complainant with sharp edged weapons, out of total 7 injuries received by him on his person. Petitioner No. 1-Naresh Kumar, caught hold the complainant, whereas co-accused Rajeshwar and other persons caused injuries to him. Considering the seriousness of allegations levelled against the petitioners and grievousness of injuries caused to the complainant, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Weapons of offence are yet to be recovered from the petitioners, therefore, their custodial interrogation is very much necessary. Dismissed.
