**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (Oral) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for quashing of FIR No.0040 dated 05.04.2023 registered under Sections 153-A, 153-B, 505, 505(2), 355, 506, 507 IPC at Police Station Nathana, District Bathinda, Punjab.

Notice of motion.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Siddharth Sandhu, Asstt. A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and informs that in the aforesaid FIR upon conclusion of investigation, cancellation report already stands presented before the Trial Court on 05.01.2024 and notice of the same has also been issued to the complainant, who happens to be a police official in Punjab Police and at presently is posted at GRP Team, Bathinda.

In view of aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of as having rendered infructuous. However, the respondents shall ensure the presence of complainant before the Trial Court on the next date of hearing.
