This petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.166 dated 18.08.2019 under Sections 341, 323, 427, 382, 506, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station City 1, Abohar, District Fazilka.

On 24.06.2020, the following order was passed:- "Heard through video conferencing.

This petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.166 dated 18.08.2019 under Sections 341, 323, 427, 382, 506, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station City 1, Abohar, District Fazilka. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the injury attributed to the petitioner is simple in nature.

Notice of motion returnable 23.09.2020.

On the asking of the court, Ms. Monika Jalota, DAG, Punjab has joined the session and accepts notice. On instructions from ASI Atma Ram, she submits that the main TRIPTI SAINI 2020.09.24 07:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-16327 of 2020 (O&M) -2accused in the present case has been arrested and it is correct that the injury attributed to the petitioner is simple one. She seeks some time to get complete instructions. A complete copy of the petition already stands furnished to the learned State counsel.

Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be admitted to bail on furnishing adequate surety and personal bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. The petitioner shall abide by all terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973." Today the learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner has since joined the investigation. Mr. Sandhu, appearing on behalf of the State, on instructions from ASI Fateh Chand, has stated that the petitioner has since joined investigation and is cooperating.

In view of the above, order dated 24.06.2020 is made absolute. The petitioner shall, however, join the investigation as and when called. The petitioner shall also abide by all the terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Disposed off accordingly.
