Instant petition has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, alleging violation of order dated 22.03.2023, Annexure P-1, passed by this Court in RSA-6066-2015.

Counsel for the petitioner has requested for deferment, as according to him, miscellaneous application has been filed in compliance with previous order passed by this Court, but some objections have been raised by the Registry.

Upon instructions from Mr. Harminder Singh, Tehsildar, Zira, State counsel submits that respondent has been transferred from the post. 4.

Faced with this development, counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the instant contempt petition with liberty to file a fresh one.
