RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 17.01.2019, learned counsel for the petitioners has produced receipts of `15,000/-. The same are taken on record.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.0121 dated 28.06.2017 registered under Sections 380, 414, 120-B IPC pertaining to Police Station Mode Town, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 06.10.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 20.10.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate, Ludhiana, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.1455 dated 16.11.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, RAVINDER SINGH 2019.03.06 12:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

According to the above report, compromise is result of volition of the parties, and without any undue influence, coercion, inducement, threat or pressure. No accused is proclaimed offender in this case.

Therefore, in view of the above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.0121 dated 28.06.2017 and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
