Apprehending threat to his life and liberty, petitioner has come up before this Court to restore two security guards for protection of life and liberty as respondents have withdrawn one security guard since 26.01.2024 without assessing the threat to life of petitioner.

Counsel for the State has handed over copy of the rapat in the Court today and the same is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to counsel for the petitioner. 3.

On instructions from ASI Balbir Singh, State counsel submits that security was drawn due to elections and now another security person has been deployed. He further submits that this security depends upon the threat perception and the moment they will find that threat perception no more subsists, they have all the legal rights to recall the security.
