H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Devinder Singh, from Police Station Fatehgarh Churian, District Gurdaspur, states that petitioner has since furnished an affidavit that he does not hold any passport and that he is not required by the local police for further investigation.

In these circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 25.8.2017 is made absolute, subject to fulfillment of conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petition in that way is allowed.
