(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.59 dated 25.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 324, 323 and 34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Lakho Ke Behram, District Ferozepur, on the basis of compromise.

Pursuant to the order dated 25.08.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 05.09.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Guruharsahai, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.362 dated 20.09.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur vide letter No.9133CB dated 21.09.2017.

According to the report, the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class is satisfied that compromise entered into between the parties is genuine and Ravinder Singh 2017.10.14 10:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document valid one which has ex-facie been entered into by them with their free volition, without any inducement or threat.

-2CRM-M-31358 of 2017 Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class dated 20.09.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.59 dated 25.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 324, 323 and 34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Lakho Ke Behram, District Ferozepur, is hereby quashed. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
