(Oral) CM No.13829-CII-2025 This is an application for preventing the respondents from committing further contempt of judgment dated 09.01.2014 passed in CWP No.16330 of 2005 titled as Parveen Arora and others vs. HPGCL and others, during the pendency of the present contempt petition. At the very outset, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. A.S. Talwar, Advocate for the applicants-petitioners submits that he does not want to press the present application and the same may be disposed of as such. CM No.13829-CII-2025 & [2] COCP No.1235 of 2024 COCP No.1235 of 2024 After hearing learned counsel for the parties at considerable length, it follows that in pursuance to the Writ Court order dated 09.01.2014 (Annexure P/7) of which contempt is alleged, a seniority list dated 09.02.2024 (Annexure P/18) has been framed by respondent No.3 which is seriously disputed by the petitioners to be not in conformity with and in consonance with the said order dated 09.01.2014 (Annexure P/7). However, vide said order dated 09.01.2014 (Annexure P/7), liberty has also been granted to the petitioners to assail any such order passed by the respondent(s).

Accordingly, the present contempt petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail their remedy as per law with regard to order dated 09.02.2024 (Annexure P/18) passed by the Chief Engineer (Administration), Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited. Rule stands discharged.
