  This petition has been filed for quashing of the order dated 16.01.2024 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur in criminal appeal bearing No.25 of 2024 titled as 'Ranjit Kaur Vs. Satinder Kaur' only to the extent whereby the petitioner has been directed to pay 20% amount of the compensation awarded by the trial Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that since the appeal has been decided by the Appellate Court, the present petition has been rendered infructuous.

Ordered accordingly.
