The petitioner has filed the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to issue appropriate directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members.

On an advance notice, Mr.I.P.S.Sabharwal, DAG, Punjab has appeared on behalf of the official respondents and on instructions from ASI Paramjit Singh, submits that warrants of arrest have been issued against the petitioner by a competent court of law in a case FIR No.18 dated 1.3.2024 registered under Sections 406, 419, 420, IPC & 66 ( C) & 66 (D) of IT Act at Police Station, Ludhiana and the house of the petitioner is being raided in connection with the investigation of the said case. He further contends that the Investigating Officer of the case shall strictly adhere to the procedure Raman Kumar 2024.04.18 10:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the statement made by the learned State Counsel, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case and accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
