The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for seeking directions to the respondents No. 2 & 3 to issue appropriate directions to respondents No. 4 to initiate appropriate legal action against the accused persons in FIR No. 248 (Annexure P-2) dated 23.11.2023 under Sections 341, 447, 511, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the lodging of the FIR, almost 05 months have lapsed and the Police Authorities are not taking any appropriate action against the offenders. 3.

2024:PHHC:047141 CRM-M-17350-2024 -2the petitioner has an alternate remedy available under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C., and finding support from the ratio of law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of "Sakiri Vasu Vs. State of U.P." AIR 2008 SCC 907, hence, I do not find any merit in the present petition. 4.
Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court of competent jurisdiction by invoking the appropriate provisions of law, as available to him.
