The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in the event of arrest in case FIR No.257 dated 17.10.2023, under Sections 307, 324, 323, 341, 506, 148, 149 of IPC, registered at Police Station Model Town, District Hoshiarpur (Annexure P-1).

After arguing vehemently on the merits of the case, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition as there are serious allegations against the petitioner of inflicting injury with the knife upon the complainant.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
