Versus

State of Punjab

...Respondent

CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMOL RATTAN SINGH Present:- Mr. Munish Thakur, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Rana Harjasdeep Singh, DAG, Punjab.

Amol Rattan Singh, J. (Oral) All the cases listed today have been taken up for hearing by way of video conferencing because of the situation existing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

By this petition, filed under the provisions of Section 439 of the Cr.P.C, the petitioner seeks the concession of regular bail, upon FIR no.155, dated 09.06.2012, having been registered at Police Station Patti, District Tarn Taran, alleging therein the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323, 324, 325, 326, 302, 148 and 149 of the IPC. Learned State counsel at the outset submits that in fact the trial has concluded, with only the judgment to be pronounced by the trial court, with the next date of hearing (for the pronouncement), being tomorrow. Consequently, without obviously making any comment whatsoever on the merits of the case, I see no ground to entertain this petition, which is therefore dismissed.
