The present appeal pertains to the year 1998. 2.
Learned counsel for the appellant states that the appellant has since died and he is unable to contact his legal heirs. It has further been pointed out that the execution of the decree beyond the principal amount was stayed vide order dated 01.08.2001 and as per hisinstructions, the said principal amount stood deposited.

In view of the fact that the appellant has since died and counsel representing him has not been able to contact his legal heirs, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present regular second appeal for non-prosecution.
