*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner retired on 31.05.2006 and this Court while deciding CWP No.2866 of 2014, decided on 30.09.2016, held that the employees who retired prior to 15.12.2011 will be entitled for the benefit of the circular dated 13.06.2012 from the said date though they might have retired prior to 01.01.2006, therefore, the petitioner is entitled for the benefit of the said judgment and revision of his pension accordingly.
Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice on 22.01.2019 (Annexure P-3), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said legal notice.
