Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner - Vikram Bhambhu - in case FIR No.168 dated 26.05.2020 registered under Sections 148, 149, 307, 323, 341 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Bhuna, District Fatehabad.
According to the prosecution, in the morning of 26.05.2020, petitioner and his co-accused Shillu on two different motorcycles waylaid complainant Virendra and stopped his vehicle. Third co-accused Juj was armed with a countrymade pistol stopped and pointed the same towards complainant. Fourth co-accused Mandeep @ Punjab armed with iron rod and petitioner armed with wooden danda intimidated the complainant and RAVINDER SINGH 2020.06.26 16:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2CRM-M-16476 of 2020 caused injuries to him with their respective weapons, on account of which complainant became unconscious.
Learned counsel inter alia contends that presence of the petitioner is not seen in the compact disc of the place of occurrence. He has falsely been implicated.
Heard.
Considering overall circumstances and the fact that petitioner is named in the FIR and has been attributed specific role of causing injuries to the complainant by a danda and further that he is involved in eight more criminal cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Dismissed.
