***** HARSH BUNGER J. (Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondent No.2-The Regional Passport Office, Jalandhar to re-issue the passport of the petitioner. 2.

Short reply filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2 in Court today, is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. 3.

A perusal of the order sheets reveals that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner on the last two occasions i.e. 02.04.2026 and 24.07.2025. Today also, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

It appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the instant matter any further.

Keeping in view the above, the present writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
