The petitioner seeks bail pending trial in FIR No.78 dated 21.07.2017 under Sections 458/354/354B IPC, registered at Police Station Chhajli, District Sangrur.

It is informed that the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties. CRM No.M-38834 of 2017 has been filed for quashing of the abovesaid FIR on the basis of a settlement arrived at between the parties on 07.10.2017. Pursuant to directions issued by this Court on 13.10.2017 in the Omkar Singh 2017.11.10 12:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-31562 of 2017 -2abovesaid case, the parties have appeared before the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sunam on 07.11.2017. The complainant has stated that the matter has been amicably settled out of her own free will without any threat, undue influence or fear and that she has no objection in case the abovesaid FIR against the petitioner is quashed.

Mr. Desh Preet Singh, learned counsel who is representing the complainant in CRM No.M-38834 of 2017 is present in Court. He affirms the aforementioned averments.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Hardeep Singh, however submits that he has not been informed of recording of statements of the parties as mentioned above. He seeks liberty to move an appropriate application, in case any of the facts as above are found incorrect. Nevertheless, it is verified that the petitioner is not involved in any other criminal case. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above but without commenting upon or expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition filed by Satgur Singh is allowed. The petitioner shall be released on bail pending trial subject to his furnishing requisite bail bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.

Liberty is afforded to respondent No.1-State to move an appropriate application for cancellation of bail afforded to the petitioner, in case any of the averments as above are found false or incorrect. ( LISA GILL ) November 9 , 2017.
