Challenge in the writ petition is to proclamation of sale dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure P-6), which is being done pursuant to order dated 04.10.2024 (Annexure P-5) passed by Debt Recovery Tribunal-II, Chandigarh. 2.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner states that loan was taken by his deceased brother and he may be given an opportunity to settle the same. 3.

Advance copy of the petition has been served upon counsel for HDFC Bank-respondent No.1. He has instructions to state that in case petitioner comes forward with a fair offer, Bank is prepared to settle the loan account.
