Through the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. the petitioner seeks the grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.86 dated 28.05.2020, registered under Section 381 IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, Bathinda, District Bathinda.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the complainant used to supply drugs to the children of Saint Xavier's School and when the petitioner who was working as a security guard in the school stopped him from doing so the complainant has falsely involved him in the present case; as per complaint the petitioner was working as complainant's servant but no proof of such employment has been furnished; there is no other criminal case in which the petitioner is involved and that under the interim orders passed by this Court the petitioner has not only joined the investigation but has also fully co-operated with the investigating agency. -2CRM-M-16435 of 2020 Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Gurpreet singh Singh submits that under the interim orders passed by this Court the petitioner has not only joined the investigation but has also fully cooperated with the investigating agency and that his custodial interrogation is no longer required by the State.
Keeping in view the totality of the above facts especially the statement made by the learned State counsel that the petitioner has joined the investigation and that his custodial interrogation is no longer required, the order of this Court dated 25.06.2020, granting ad-interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute.
