**** Harpreet Singh Brar, J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to re-fix and revise the pay of the petitioner on the post of Meter Reader/LDC and to grant all consequential benefits with interest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition and prays for issuance of direction to the Appellate Authority to decide his appeal (Annexure P-13) in a time bound manner. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation submits that the appeal filed by the petitioner would be decided expeditiously in view of limited prayer made by the petitioner.

In view of the above, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner preferably within a period of three months after affording due opportunity of hearing to him.
