(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to quash the result for the post of Assistant Accountant under Sports quota and to issue direction to respondent No.2 to appoint the petitioner as Assistant Accountant under Sports category.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had applied for the post of Assistant Accountant under the Sports category. She has a B Grade certification from the Director Sports, Punjab. A copy of the certificate is at Annexure P-3. He further contends that the petitioner had obtained 43 marks and was the most meritorious candidate in the sports person (women) category for which one post had been reserved. He also submits that the petitioner had sent representation in this regard to respondent No.2 and prays that the petition may be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the same. Issue notice to the respondents.
