Status report by way of affidavit of Harbir Singh Atwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Rupnagar, District Rupnagar (Rural) has been filed in court. Same is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a compromise has been effected between the parties and separate petition has been filed for quashing of FIR on that basis. In view of above, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
