Ms. Rashmi Attri, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, has joined the proceedings in this case in pursuance of the copy of this petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance. However, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition while apprising this Court that the petitioner would surrender before learned trial Court in this case and would move an application for seeking the relief of regular bail. He further prays that the bail application of the petitioner may kindly be directed to be disposed of within some specific time frame.
