The present order shall dispose off both the above-captioned appeals filed by the defendant-appellant - Gurjant Singh - arising out of two different civil suits filed by plaintiff-respondent No.1 herein in both the appeals.

On 15.05.2024 the following order was passed : "Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the parties are agreeable to settle the matter and that the Yogesh Sharma 2024.05.28 10:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

RSA Nos.3162 & 3605 of 1998 (O&M) -2appellant would pay Rs.67,00,000/- to Jaswinder Kaur (respondent No.1 in RSA-3162-1998) and Balwant Kaur (respondent No.1 in RSA-3605-1998).
In view of the above, parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 17.05.2024 at 10.00 am for drawing up a compromise and for recording of their statements qua the compromise.
To await the report, list on 27.05.2024."

Subsequent to the order dated 15.05.2024, the parties appeared before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and have got their statements recorded. They have also drawn up a formal compromise dated 17.05.2024 which has been signed by the appellant - Gurjant Singh - as well as the power of attorney-holder of Jaswinder Kaur (respondent No.1 in RSA-3162-1998) and Balwant Kaur (respondent No.1 in RSA-36051998). 4.
Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the present appeals may be disposed off in terms of the compromise dated 17.05.2024 which may be made part of the decree-sheet.

In view of the above, both the appeals are disposed off in terms of the compromise dated 17.05.2024 marked as Ex.C1 which be made part of the decree sheets. Decree sheets be drawn accordingly.
