Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for directing the police authorities to conduct a fair and impartial investigation.

Upon directions for verification of facts, learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Kushal Singh,DSP,Indiri wherein it is stated that on recording of statement of Sonia, who is concededly 21 years of age, it has come to light that she of her own volition had accompanied one Sanjay on account of her love affair and RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.10.28 16:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M 31741/2015 also solemnised marriage with him. Aforesaid Bittu son of Ramdhari is a friend of said Sanjay and has nothing to do with the alleged commission of offence. It is further stated that police on completion of investigations has filed a cancellation report. In view of the aforesaid developments, the present petition has thus become infructuous.

Dismissed as infructuous.
