That it is most respectfully submitted that the said complaint/representation is at present pending before the Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri Anandpur Sahib for thorough enquiry regarding allegations/assertions made by the petitioners.

4. That as per interim report received from the office of DSP Shri Anandpur Sahib, the petitioners were called to join the enquiry on

 22/03/2025 but they failed to join the enquiry before DSP Shri Anandpur Sahib, and now again the Petitioners have been called to join the enquiry on 26/03/2025 by DSP Shri Anandpur Sahib, therefore the enquiry officer has sought time of two weeks to complete the fact finding enquiry.

That as far as allegations levelled by the petitioners pertaining to the fact that his car was snatched or taken away by the police authorities from his house, in this regard it is respectfully submitted that on 27,02.2025, the car bearing No.PB-16-G-1441 and bike bearing No.PB-12-X-5783 were found abandoned in an open plot in the area of Mohalla Kurali Wala, near Academy Road Sri, Anandpur Sahib and the same were taken into police possession vide DDR No.14 dated 27.02.2025 and none of the petitioners or the owners of the car have come forward to claim the same till date. It is further submitted that the police has no hesitation to release the said vehicle to its rightful owner if he would claim the same by producing the documents of ownership pertaining to the car and bike mentioned above. The True Copy of DDR No.14 dated 27.02.2025 is attached as Annexure R-1.

6. That the petitioner No.1 is an accused in FIR No. 64 dated 04.09.2023, under section 21, 29, 22 of NDPS Act, 1985, lodged at Police Station Singh Bhagwantpur, District Rupngar wherein he along with his co-accused was found in possession of 396 grams of Heroine, which is a commercial quantity.

That as far the assertion /allegations raised by the petitioners that police authorities raided their premises in an unauthorised manner, it is most humbly submitted that State Level drive has been launched against the drug peddlers in the State of Punjab by the police and in pursuance to the same, State level CASO Operation was held on 01/03/2025 and search of suspected places / premises was carried out under the supervision of Gurmeet Singh PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (NDPS), Rupnagar and the he along with police party of Police Station Shri Aanand Pur Sahib visited the house of Petitioner no.1 situated at Mohalla Kurali Wala, Sri Anandpur Sahib where petitioner No. 1 was not found present at his home. Regarding CASO Operation DDR's No.10 and 13 Dated 01.03.2025 are attached as annexure R-2 And R-3.

8. That it is most respectfully submitted that the inquiry into the allegations of the Petitioners is being thoroughly carried out by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sri Anandpur Sahib, and to conclude the same two more weeks would be needed. /!0$ 1$ * (
