The instant petition under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponds to Section 438 Cr.P.C.) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.68 dated 31.03.2024, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC (corresponding Sections 318(4), 336(3), 340(2), 338 and 61 of BNS) registered at Police Station Sadar, District Ludhiana.

This Court vide order dated 20.03.2026, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 20.03.2026, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 4.
