*** H.S. Grewal, J. (Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.18 dated 24.01.2025 under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station City Rajpura, District Patiala. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been named as an accused in the aforementioned FIR. The allegations against the petitioner are that she had accepted Rs.80,000/- via Gpay in her account from the complainant. The total amount given to all the accused was Rs. 10 lakhs. He further contended that the petitioner had sought pre-litigation mediation before this Court in October, 2024, which is still Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. He also contended that the petitioner wants to settle the matter as she has stated that the amount was advanced to her as a loan.

This Court, vide order dated 21.03.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event Sonia Puri 2025.05.06 18:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-15830-2025 -2of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Learned State counsel states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 21.03.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
