(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the parties have resolved the matter which originated from a complaint filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and that although the petitioner had initially been convicted and appeal was pending before the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda but pursuant to the compromise, the complaint has been withdrawn and consequently, the present petition is rendered infructuous.
In view of the aforesaid submissions, the petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
