The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to count the petitioner's service from 22.3.2012 for the benefit of Assured Carrier Progression (ACP) as per Rule 7 of Haryana Civil Services ACP Rules, 2016. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case his pending legal notice, dated 17.1.2024, is considered and decided by the respondents in a specified period.

In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Registrar of the University to consider and decide the petitioner's pending legal notice, dated 17.1.2024, within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.
