(Oral) Prayer in the above petitions is for issuance of direction to respondents No 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and to take legal action by registering an F.I.R against accused persons on the complaint dated 09.07.2015 (P-2).

On notice, a short reply dated 03.08.2016 has been filed stating therein that an enquiry was conducted into the matter and it was found that the complainant has made a complaint against her in-laws regarding dowry at public window on 11.06.2015 and for the same, the date was fixed in W&CSU Sector 17, Chandigarh on 07.07.2015. Crl. Misc. No. M-31840 and 39680 of 2015 along with respectable persons of the area came at complainant house to approach for settlement but the complainant family beaten them and forced them to leave the house. In this regard, complainant filed a complaint dated 09.07.2015 after three days. The allegations levelled by the complainant are found to be false.

Today, in compliance of order dated 27.10.2016, a better affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 6 reiterating the facts as stated in the earlier affidavit.

Keeping in view the fact that the enquiry is based on the CCTV footage gathered by the police in which the entire incident has been recorded, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The petition stands disposed of.
