Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.834 dated 28.06.2014 under Section 15 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station City Panipat, District Panipat.
Notice of motion.
Mr.Himmat Singh, Asstt. Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and contests the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that 7 kgs. of poppy husk was recovered from the present petitioner. CRM No.M-31878 of 2015 -2bail in the present case and he absented from the proceedings on 14.07.2015. Then the petitioner surrendered before the Court on 24.08.2015 and since then, he is in judicial custody. The trial of the case will take long time. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioner in custody till the disposal of the case.
In view of the above discussion, I find merit in the present petition and the same is accepted. The petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds in the sum of `30,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Panipat.
