The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's higher qualification in the same line as required for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher/TGT-Science against advertisement no.2 of 2023, dated 21.2.2023, Annexure P-2.

During pendency of the petition, the petitioner was provisionally allowed to participate in the selection process. 3.

Learned State counsel by referring to the written statement filed on behalf of the Commission, submits that pursuant to interim order dated 12.4.2023, passed by this Court, the petitioner appeared in the written examination for the post in question on 28.6.2023. On account of the petitioner's scoring less marks than those of the last selected candidate, he was not short-listed for the scrutiny of documents.
