Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 438, Cr.P.C., is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, Jaspal Kaur and Baljit Kaur, who have been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 406 and 420, IPC, in a case arising out of FIR No.73, dated 29.05.2014, registered at Police Station, Phase VIII, S.A.S.Nagar (Mohali).

Learned counsel for the State, after taking instructions from Inspector Bharpoor Singh, Police Station, Civil Lines, Patiala and a member of the Special Investigating Team SEEMA RANI 2015.10.06 17:08 I attest the accuracy and authencity of the document

Criminal Misc.No.M-31890 of 2015 [2] constituted for the investigation in the present case, submits that in compliance of the order dated 18.09.2015 passed by this Court, the petitioners, who are women, have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is not required. Learned counsel for the informant though opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner but could not substantiate as to why the custody of the petitioners is required. In view of the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case and the stand taken by learned counsel for the State, the present petition is allowed. Interim directions dated 18.09.2015 issued by this Court are made absolute. The petitioners shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions as laid down under Section 438(2), Cr.P.C.
