Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.41 dated 04.04.2017 under Section 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Dhuri, District Sangrur. Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that as per prosecution version, FIR was got registered on the application given by Darshan Singh complainant. The present petitioner is the main accused. There is allegation that he induced the complainant to get sanctioned loan of `50 lakhs in which there will be Vineet Gulati 2017.09.19 16:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-31921 of 2017 -2subsidy of `25 lakhs and took `5,60,000/- by cheating the complainant. Keeping in view serious allegations levelled against the petitioner and in view of the facts and circumstances of the case and without discussing the facts of the case in minute details and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I find that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation. No ground is made out for grant of benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
