*** RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for quashing the notice and sealing office order dated 01.02.2024 and 22.02.2024 (Annexure P1) and (Annexure P-2) vide which the office of petitioner has been arbitrarily ordered to be sealed thereby violating the principles of natural justice and settled position of law. Further prayer has been made for directing the respondent authorities to de-seal the office of petitioner as the same was not in violation of any statute and was being run only as an office of professional advocate by the petitioner's son. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has received a notice dated 01.02.2024 wherein certain violations were alleged under the Punjab Municipal Act and the petitioner was asked as to why not his construction be demolished. He further submits that in response to the notice dated 01.02.2024, reply was RITTU 2024.04.10 10:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

On asking of the Court, Harpreet Singh, Advocate appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He submits that respondent No.1 will consider the reply filed by the petitioner and decide the matter positively within a period of two weeks. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 i.e. the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Moti Bagh, Patiala to take into consideration the reply filed by the petitioner and decide the matter in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to pursue his remedies in accordance with law in case any further cause of action accrues to him.
