This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 106 dated 03.07.2017 under sections 420, 409, 406, 120-B IPC (offence under section 409 IPC deleted and offence under section 407 IPC added) at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated 30.08.2017, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the above, order dated 30.08.2017 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Disposed of.
