NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J.(ORAL) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482, Cr.P.C., is for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 for protecting the petitioners from private respondent Nos.4 to 6 on the premise that the petitioners, who are majors have solemnized their marriage without the consent of respondent Nos.4 to 6. On 18.09.2015, the following order was passed:- "Petitioners claim that they have attained MEENU 2015.11.19 16:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

CRM-M-31921-2015 -2majority and married against the wishes of their family members. Apprehending threat to their life and liberty, they have filed this petition for protection. It appears that the petitioners have filed a representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, Annexure P5, dated 15.09.2015. Notice of motion to the respondents for 19.11.2015.

Meanwhile, an interim direction is issued that the petitioners will not be forcibly taken in custody by any of the respondents on the allegation that petitioner No.1 has been kidnapped, abducted or raped by petitioner No.2."

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Rajpal Singh, Police Station, Sadar, Kharar, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), submits as and when the petitioners have danger to their life, the local police is ready to provide every type of protection to them.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition, at this stage. So ordered.
