(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from being falsely implicated in different cases by the CIA staff, Gate Hakima, E-Division, Amritsar, as the brother of petitioner, namely; Amanpreet Singh @ Rinka, is an absconder. Heard.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, is directed to look into matter and inquire as to whether the petitioner genuinely need any protection and if so, do the needful.
