***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks the grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in a case bearing FIR No.33 dated 08.02.2022 under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506 IPC (Sections 326, 148 and 149 IPC added later on) registered with Police Station Jamalpur, Ludhiana. The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sadhu Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated May 05, 2022, and is not required for custodial interrogation. The reply dated July 05, 2022 filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. The Registry is directed to tag the same at the appropriate place of the paperbook. In this view of the matter, interim order dated May 05, 2022 is made absolute.
However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
The petition stands disposed of.
