* * * * The Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court vide its award dated 09.04.2001 ordered reinstatement of the workman with continuity of service and 50% of back wages. The petitioner challenged this award by filing the present writ petition. In the order dated March 12, 2007, it is recorded that report was received from the Deputy Commissioner, wherein it is stated that the petitionerFactory is lying closed since 01.04.1998. In the interest of justice, notice was again ordered to be issued to the petitioner for today. The said notice has been received back with the report unserved by observing that the firm has shifted to some other place. None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.
